Starting the year eating more healthily is a great way to get into the swing of things at work and at home. A healthy, balanced diet, active lifestyle and good sleep can help you feel refreshed and look great! We have put together a list of some of our favourite healthy meal ideas. These dishes show that healthy eating means you can still enjoy delicious and exciting food.
All these recipes come in at under 400 kcals per serving, meaning you can give your taste buds a treat without worrying about the calories.
Baked Lemon Cod with Quinoa Tabbouleh
Our Lemon Cod recipe tastes great, and is also low in fat, saturated fat, salt, and contains whole grain. You can swap the quinoa for cous cous or bulgar wheat if you fancy something a bit different.

You can vary the vegetables according to what’s in season, just make sure they require a similar cooking time. Instead of chicken, try using a meaty fish fillet like cod or salmon.

This simple recipe for Chicken Tikka Masala is bursting with flavour, only 136 kcals per serving and is low in salt. For a change from rice, serve in a wholemeal pitta bread with lettuce and onions, and a dollop of mango chutney for a sweet twist.
Winter Salad with Warm Pesto Whole Grain Croutons
This warm salad recipe shows that salads aren’t just for summer, they’re just as good on those cold winter evenings. For a slightly different flavour, try using sundried tomato paste instead of pesto. And for a protein hit, add in some quartered boiled eggs.
